Bryce Groark

Bryce Groark is a wildlife photographer and cinematographer specializing in the marine environment. In 2004, he started Living Ocean Productions in Kona, Hawaii with the goal of bridging the gap between the scientific community and the general public. His award-winning work has been featured in magazines, newspapers, numerous domestic and international television networks as well as a myriad of International Film Festivals, Aquariums and Museums around the world.

With more than 5,000 hours underwater over the past ten years, Bryce’s work has brought him to all corners of the earth where he spends more than half his time working in the field. Sharks and large pelagic species are his passion. For years, his images have worked to showcase the plight of sharks around the globe. Bryce has made films and worked with conservation groups and policy makers by raising awareness and supporting multiple forms of legislation protecting sharks. In 2010, Bryce assisted in helping Hawaii become the safest place in the world for sharks, with the passage of SB2169, which prohibits the possession, sale or trade of any shark fin products in the state of Hawaii.
