Peter Lindbergh

One of the most respected and widely emulated photographers working today, Peter Lindbergh has been described as a "poet of glamour." Since 1978 his work has been published by every major international fashion magazine including Italian, French, British and American Vogue, W, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Stern, and Rolling Stone. During the past ten years, he has photographed the advertising campaigns for the foremost designers in America and Europe, including Giorgio Armani, Prada, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Jil Sander and Hugo Boss.

Lindbergh's photographs have been shown in international galleries and museums and in the books Ten Women and Peter Lindberg: Images of Women. Lindbergh is also a distinguished television commercial director and has directed a music video for Tina Turner's "Missing You" and a short film entitled "Inner voices". He is a two time winner of the International Fashion Awards prize for Best Photographer and in 1996 he was conferred the Raymond Loewy Foundation's Award.
