Christina Vallianos

Christina leads our campaign research as well as the grant writing side of development. She joined WildAid as a research fellow in August 2013 and later worked as a development consultant before joining the team full-time in January 2014. Christina has a B.A. in Psychology from UC-Berkeley and has a background in environmental science and animal behavior. She has interned with river otters, giraffes, lions, and tigers at the Oakland Zoo and taught ecology to youth. She loves hiking, photography, and has volunteered for Bay Nature documenting and writing reviews of Bay Area trails. She is passionate about sustainable foods projects and has grown more than 40 varieties of fruits and vegetables in addition to volunteering on farms in Patagonia.
