Howard Rodriguez

Howard Rodriguez is world class dog trainer, and the owner / training director of California K-9 Academy, located in Burbank, CA. He has exhibited worldwide in all major competitions and has earned National and International awards and recognition. From 1994 through 2004, Howard qualified and competed as a US Team Member or Team Captain in the World Championships. He has competed in Czechoslovakia, Finland, Belgium, Austria, German, Switzerland, Italy and Holland. Howard has been featured in over 50 publications as well as primetime television as "the dog trainer extraordinaire". Publications include Newsweek, People, Star, the LA Times, Vanity Fair, The Miami Herald, the National Enquirer, Santa Barbara News Press, Dog Sports, Today Dogs and many others. Among his personal pursuits, Howard takes great pride as a partner of a national dog food company. He actively demonstrated philanthropic efforts and is a board member of the Galapagos Island Conservatory. He is a master scuba diver with 17 specialties, a multi-engine rated private pilot and speaks four languages. Of all his pursuits, Howard's biggest passion by far, is being a father to his son, Spencer.
