Michael Skoletsky

Michael Skoletsky is Apio System's Chief Customer Officer, guiding Apio's development of a disruptive mobile platform to be highly useful to its customers. Michael brings extensive consumer and business application development, customer experience, and marketing expertise from decades of creating innovative solutions for start up ventures and the most respected brands in the world.

Michael began in traditional advertising, working with Procter & Gamble, Pepsi-Cola, and Coca-Cola. In 1990, his efforts shifted to helping brands compete across digital and traditional platforms. As founder and President of Panolog in Los Angeles, later as Media & Entertainment Practice Director at interactive firm Viant, and at Blast Radius, he led initiatives for AOL, Time Warner, Paramount Pictures, Apple, MTV, Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment, Time Inc's Golf.com and Money.com, and Meredith Publishing's  Parents.com and BHG.com.

Michael applied his leadership, marketing, and communication abilities to the cause of shark conservation as co-Founder and Executive Director of Shark Savers, leading the organization from its creation to making a major impact on protecting sharks and rays. Shark Savers has now been merged into WildAid, where Michael is a Board Director. The WildAid and Shark Savers media and grassroots campaigns in Asia have been key in reversing the trend of shark fin soup consumption, which has declined over 50% in the past two years.
